kinda excited for the last quarter of my undergraduate career. too bad it has to end right when i got pretty good at it. ive been watching alot of ted.com. This guy is pretty much my idol. been following his work lately. i must say, interesting stuff indeed. wish i had badass professors like these
So I actually worked the 9 to 5 this week, but only Monday to Thursday. Its not that I wouldn't mind being back in San Diego playing video games all week in 30 degree cooler weather. I'm just really tired of being a broke ass college student. The week wasn't even that bad and I didn't really get bored too much. Monday I just chilled watched TV and read the Noli. Tuesday I bought a bike and rode it all the way to campus and back just to test how long it would actually take to bike there. Wednesday watched Ironman. And I guess tonight... I'll watch America's best dance crew. Here's to you, the undisputed champions of Americas best dance crew....
so i sometimes read myspace horoscopes every now and then. usually its when i have something muy important to do, like study for a midterm. and i guess this time it coincides with another procrastination technique called xanga writing. pretty crazy how i actually could relate at least some part of it to my current situation. anyways, here it is:
People can usually rely on you because of your wealth of common sense;
typically, you know what to do. Now, however, you may not be as certain
about what to do next. Your lack of confidence could lead you down the
path of least resistance, which may not take you in your intended
direction. Remember, it's crucial today to allow yourself to waste some
time, even if it feels counterproductive. What you discover along the
way may be more important than achieving your goal.
at work they want me to work full time, and my professor wants me to do research and apply to grad school. and im like, "fuck dude, i just wanna chill. can i just get some free time to do nothing? i dont even know when im done with school. shit man, i love being an undergraduate, living in my own house and doing things my parents would never approve of. i dread the day i live back with my parents and i have to bring extra clothes to change into so that my parents wont smell alcohol or some shit on me when i get back home. oh shit am i still thinking out loud? here let me close that quote for u..."
yups, other than worrying about my future things have been on the up and ups. people are cool and hospitable. been drinking pretty much weekly, maybe even 4 times a week. how is that possible? well, lets just say cinco de mayo was pretty cool, and random tuesdays arent bad either. been drinking so much i cant even suck in my gut to the point it indents. gotta fix that once pool season gets closer. something happend earlier this week that i thought was funny and i should write on here, but it escapes me at the moment. gotta stop forgetting shit.
saw this under the bridge from disneyland parking. thought it was pretty deep, maybe even subterranean.
pretty amazing spring break, maybe even tops rosarito last year. but yeah, heres one for the record books:
-Took the Friday of finals week off work and went up to mountain high using the 1000 point pass my bro gave me. pretty sweet. just handed it off bt jt, dennis and I -grocery shopping and packing up to get ready for camping, then later that night went to how sweet. must say, pretty crazy experience. got picked up in LA at 3am then rolled up to Yosemite -CAMPING! upper falls pretty badass this time of year. gushing like a bloody fist of the north star punch, but trying to sleep in 30 degree weather not so gravy. -Drove back to rside for work but got Thursday off and drove back to SD to play brawl by myself and eat dinner with my family -Work again Friday and Vegas Baby right after. pretty good time. had some bad ideas but still a blast chillin with everyone. 6 hour drive back pretty bitchassnez but overall one to remember.
Pretty intense spring break. Even better that I got a 3.6 this past quarter. hopefully I'll tear up the next.
So there you have it wanga. how was your weekend? now ill go watch wedding singer while you guys can watch this awesome performance
